What are your career aspirations?
I hope to become either a manager or director, and I’d like to be able to focus on charity and giving back to the community.

Why did you choose to intern with MI?
I really got a sense for how much they care about the people that work for the company; especially with the involvement with the community through the charitable foundation. I [also] got a chance to talk to a former intern ... at a career fair. Hearing about her experience with the internship and how meaningful it was really made my decision for me.

Who did you work with?
I worked with human resources manager, Joan Cortelyou, and
human resources coordinators Erin Sten, and Ryan Curran.

Do you have any advice for future interns?
Don’t be afraid to get involved immediately. Take this great opportunity to meet mew people and develop your professional skills. [Also], Prioritize your mentor and department projects...Show that you are willing to help in any way needed. Then you will be able to get the support you need to have a successful internship.

What did you enjoy most?
Meeting all the different people in the company. I think the people I worked with made it all worth it.
