Our History of Quality and Innovation

MI Windows and Doors began life as Metal Industries in a Florida airplane hangar in 1947. More than 75 years later, we have maintained our most important values—good people and hard work.

In 2019 we welcomed Milgard Windows and Doors into our family, allowing us to form a new parent brand for MI and Milgard in 2022. As MITER Brands™, we have a national reach that enables us to serve customers across the United States and parts of Canada, ensuring precision in our manufacturing processes along with exceptional quality control and consistent customer service — all backed with our industry-leading warranties.
