In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, MI Windows and Doors is pleased to announce that every NFRC-rated window and door it manufactures in October will feature pink labels. MI is joined in this fight against breast cancer by Scranton Label, Inc., who is providing the pink labels at no extra cost to MI.
In addition, the MI Charitable Foundation will donate $25,000 each to:
“Approximately twelve percent of American women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lives,” MI Windows CEO Matt DeSoto says. “MI and our Charitable Foundation are determined to help in the fight against this awful disease. By using pink labels and donating to these worthy foundations, we hope to inspire others to join the fight against breast cancer.”
The MI Foundation has long made the battle against cancer a cornerstone of its mission. Two of the main recipients of its charitable work – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
and Four Diamonds
– are devoted to eradicating childhood cancer.
“We’ll continue to help raise awareness and contribute resources to those searching for a cure,” DeSoto says. “The MI Foundation is in this battle for the long haul.”
