As a large company that takes its environmental responsibilities seriously, MI Windows and Doors is thrilled whenever one of our facilities is recognized for being a good steward of the environment. That is why we are pleased to congratulate our extrusion facility in Texas for receiving yet another environmental distinction award from the city of Carrollton.

This is the third straight year that this facility has received this honor. In a letter from Megan Davidson, the city of Carrollton’s Industrial Pretreatment Coordinator, she announced that this MI facility was being commended for being a “Consistently Compliant Industry” for the 2019-20 pretreatment year.

“While this year has been a little different than most,” Davidson writes, “we appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to environmental sustainability.”

Armando Flores, a Safety and Environmental Generalist for MI, was elated to receive this award for the third time.

“I know how hard everyone works at the plant,” he says. “We take our environmental responsibilities very seriously, and this honor shows that the city appreciates our efforts. Let’s congratulate our team members for helping to get this accomplishment.”
