1620 Single-Hung Introduction

Posted Jan 20, 2017

MI Windows and Doors is excited to announce the launch of a new impact product for the South and Southeast Regions on January 30, 2017. The 1620 single-hung is a robust, classically styled window that fits comfortably into our 1600 Series while also performing to some of the most stringent building codes on the Eastern and Gulf coasts. With metal sash reinforcements, heavy-duty locking tilt latches, and impact glass, the 1620 single-hung window meets a DP50 rating and Florida Building Code requirements.

The new product will be available with fin, finless, and flange frame configurations in white, almond, and clay extruded colors to satisfy the varying needs of our customers. Additionally, the 1620 single-hung will offer flat grids-between-glass or sculptured Simulated Divided Light grids.

Each 1620 window will come standard with Preserve® film that helps to protect the glass against damage during the manufacturing, shipping, and construction process. The film must be removed prior to final settlement on the property, ensuring the glass will be protected until the property-owner has keys in-hand.
