Replacement windows in three-story building

Field Testing Procedure

MI’s Field Testing Policy for Newly Installed Products describes the proper protocol to follow when testing MI windows or doors that have been installed for six (6) months or less. It identifies the industry standard to follow (AAMA 502), the required elements and timing of required notice to MI, as well as what to anticipate from MI regarding a response.

Review Field Testing Policy

These requirements apply to any field-testing of newly installed MI Products. Products must be tested as soon as possible after initiation of installation, before installation of drywall or interior finish wall/roof materials, and prior to the issuance of the building occupancy permit. Testing must be designed and performed by an AAMA LAP-3 accredited field-testing agency.
