Bachelors, 2020

What are your career aspirations?
After graduation, I plan to head straight into my career field and start as an IT support or network technician. I hope by the end of my career I am able to become a network administrator or maybe an IT director or chief information officer.

Why did you decide to apply for an internship with MI?
Seeing that MI supports Homes For Our Troops really got me excited since I volunteered for the organization in high school. I like seeing that a company is willing to not only provide for its employees, but for its community as well.

Who did you work with?
I worked with Andy Warfel and the IT Infrastructure team.

What did you experience during your internship?
Education. I’ve learned so much this summer ... when I’m at school, I learn theory, thinking that someday I’ll be working in the situation. Now I have the hands on experience - now when I learn something new over the next couple of years of college, I can apply that. Instead of just thinking, “I could do that someday,” I can actually do it. That’s the best part about it.

What did you enjoy most?
Everything! I felt right at home here. Every employee I met was friendly and completely willing to help. I started taking interest in IT work was because I love solving problems. When those problems are IT related, I love it even more.
