Join our talented intern team
Apply the knowledge and skills acquired in your secondary education curriculum to be an integral member of our intern team. Each summer, we welcome interns from a variety of backgrounds to shadow, assist, learn from, and contribute to our team. We don’t want you making copies and getting coffee — we want you getting your hands dirty and making an impact on the company.
An intern committee works closely with our intern team, their managers, and the leaders of each department throughout the course of the program to ensure that expectations are met by everyone involved. We provide our interns with a truly valuable experience that you can take back to the classroom and brag about. More importantly, the knowledge and real world experience you gain as an intern will give you a leg-up when you being your career search after college.

“It wasn’t until I was hired as a safety intern at MI Windows and Doors that I realized what a real internship should encompass! It was apparent on day one that I was a part of a team that had a vision to be the best in the fenestration industry. My leaders involved me in high level projects that had an effect on major business goals an initiatives. “I was never treated like an intern. From day one, I had my hands in the most important projects my team was working on, and I was contributing to major initiatives and milestones. I was trusted by my supervisor, and I was encouraged to make suggestions. Because of the experience I had as an intern, it was a no-brainer to accept the full-time job when they offered it to me at the end of the summer.”
